This past weekend was pretty chill. Lots of coffee, lots of friends...
Friday Jocelyn came to visit. It's been really cool that we can see each other so much even though she lives in a different city. It makes the time we spend together better because we don't feel like we have to fill it with amazingly special activities. Like on Friday we just did a little thrifting, watercolored in the coffee shop and took a nap. It was pretty great.
Today we caught up with our friends Heather and Joe by surprise. I love when we run into friends unexpectedly and spend the afternoon getting a little over-caffeinated and talking about stuff we have in common. Heather and I talk photo stuff, the boys bike stuff. There was some overlap in between, too.
I entered a little holiday giveaway over on Henry Happened and won a wonderful gift - a 3-month subscription to an Umba Box. Every month I'll get a box of handmade goodies. That's right, handmade stuff and MAIL. I love getting mail. So today when my first box arrived I was beyond happy. Inside was a lovely artist bio, all-natural lip balm in a delicious pear crumble flavor and a letterpress calendar! Just what I've been wanting.
Gary and I are headed to Philadelphia for a couple of days. I haven't been there since I was a kid, so exploring will be in order. Any recommendations?

ReplyDeleteHey Natalie! So happy I stumbled upon your blog today seeing that you're going to Philadelphia! You should check out "The Last Drop" coffee shop on pine street. It's my new favorite there! Also, you have to stop in the Anthropologie in Center City. It's so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI hope all has been well!

Thanks for the recommendation Chelsea! I didn't see you comment until after our trip, but next time we go back I'll be sure to check The Last Drop out.
