I finally have time to do some personal reading, and Gary introduced me to the delight of young coconuts.
We also discovered quail eggs this week. Honestly they taste just like regular eggs - they're just cuter.
We visited a restaurant a friend has been recommending for a while now. It's in an old home, and the owner takes you into her kitchen to show you what she has for the day. It's like when an aunt has you over for lunch - including the part where you can't say no to dessert.
Last night I cooked dinner and we invited some friends to Gary's shop to eat. Lentil Meatloaf, Chickpeas and Sweet Potatoes and affogato.
